I knew these older girls at Boston College who were seniors when I was a freshman. When they were sophomores and juniors, they lived across from a dude a year older than them who was from Ohio. He went to the local boy’s Catholic high school in the town where Katie went to the local girl’s Catholic high school and they dated up until she got the part on Dawson’s at the end of their senior year and she moved to North Carolina or whatever to film the show.
Anyway, apparently he was always really touchy when the subject of Katie came up, but he would always watch Dawson’s with the girls across the hall who I also knew. I guess he would always just be really awkward about it until one night, the night she lost her virginity on the show to Pacey, he kinda like tweeked out or whatever and was all “SHE WASN’T LIKE THAT. SHE WOULDN’T DO THAT. KATIE WASN’T LIKE THAT.”
And then like, I guess he kinda checked out for awhile or something.
Um, because it isn’t real. It’s photoshopped within an inch of its life.

Soy = Overrated
Soy can be extremely difficult to digest… and what you find in the US usually has the nutritional benefits GM’d out of it (due to its current surge in popularity, therefore it is quickly mass-produced). Asia is the only place you’re going to find quality soy products.

Edamame: Young soybeans harvested when green, usually sold frozen. Boil in the pods and then salt.

Soy milk: Soybeans are soaked, ground, and strained to produce a milk substitute. Can be made into cheese, yogurt, and frozen desserts.
Soy nuts: Soybeans that have been soaked in water and then baked to produce a high-protein, peanut-like snack. Can be blended with soybean oil to make a spread like peanut butter.
Soy sauce: A salty, dark brown liquid made from fermented soybeans.
Soybean oil: The oil extracted from soybeans, usually labeled “vegetable oil.”
Tempeh: A loaf (and meat alternative) made from cooked, cracked, and fermented soybeans.
Tofu: Pressed curds of coagulated soy milk. Firm and extra-firm tofu can be cubed. Soft or silken tofu can be blended into dips and dressings.(via)

Yesterday was a whirlwind of a day huh! I ended it with a couple martinis because I really didn’t see all of that coming - at least at the same time.
Anyway, I’m moving on and I hope you do to.
Before I do, I want to say it was never my intention to offend anyone with the Roe v. Wade reference. Of course I don’t think Botox ridicule is even close to comparable to the mental anguish women go through in even considering an abortion. And I think EVERYONE knows that. Most of you realized that wasn’t my message. My point was be confident in your choices. But abortion was the easy target point in the post. My apologies to those of you who have gone through the hardship and heartache of abortion and were offended. I can’t imagine what the struggle must be like for you even as the days pass. For those of you who chose to use that as your headline and completely missed the real message I was trying to send, you have failed as a reporter and as a woman.

The reason you have wrinkles on your forehead is not due to “certain people age differently”….it is because you have been over-doing it in the gym for years! That “hungry” feeling does not mean you’re being “good.” It means your body needs proper nourishment. When you lose the layer of fat under the skin on your face, your face will sag and wrinkle. You are still young, you can reverse this without botox or restalyne! Just eat some healthy fat-laden foods daily (ground flax seed, flax seed oil, avocados, etc.) and you will begin to notice a difference in your face.
